Dearest Parishioners and friends,

I hope that our Easter Greetings touches your hearts as you continue to endure the difficult times that continue to affect each and everyone of us.  We have had to make major changes to our daily lives and the many responsibilities that have come along because of this pandemic threat.   Our thoughts and our prayers have been with you.  Though we are not able to be physically present to each other,  I trust that the assurance of our daily prayers and our private masses have kept us in communion with one another and most especially draw us all ever closer to the God who is always our comfort and our strength.

We will soon be commemorating the holiest week of the year as we anticipate the glory of Easter.  Unfortunately, we have to anticipate that due to the coronavirus, we are faced with having a different venue for our special and most spiritual celebrations while not being able to be present with each other. It is necessary to curtail our Holy Week ceremonies while still remembering and celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the Redemption of humanity.   To that purpose, we will provide a video stream of our celebrations of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday & Easter (all evening celebrations) at 7:00 p.m. This will be found on Facebook live (Stephen Decesare’s account) as well as uploaded to our parish web-site (once it is uploaded at a later hour each evening).  There are elements of these celebrations that will not be able to be retained because of a lack of a congregation but the Mass or the liturgical celebration can still be held. So the following schedule is provided for your information and convenience:

April 4TH, 2020 – PALM SUNDAY VIGIL – 5:00 P.M.   MASS & BLESSIING OF PALMS –

Palms will be available following the Mass till 7:00 p.m. Saturday Night and Sunday morning ( in the side lobby  on the parking lot side of the church from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)

April 7th, 2020 – CONFESSIONS – 6:30 P.M. -8:30 P.M.    Entrance of Parish Center

Social Distancing regulations apply thus, we will be able to allow a certain number of penitents while the others may be asked to remain in their cars in the parking lot until you are directed to enter.

April 9th, 2020    HOLY THURSDAY MASS  (Video-streamed)   at 7:00 p.m.

April 10th, 2020 – STATIONS OF THE CROSS (Video-streamed)  at 3:00 p.m.

                             & LITURGY OF THE LORD’S PASSION (video-streamed) at 7;00 p.m.

April 11 & 12th, 2020 -EASTER MASS – Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m.  (Video-streamed)

Once again, allow me to express my fondest best wishes to you for a happy Easter,  Though circumstances make it difficult, we still remind each other that we are an “Alleluia”  people and so we rejoice in the hope that God’s comforting grace gives us good reason to rejoice always.  Be assured of our prayers and May God Bless you and keep you safe
